Thanksgiving

Hi Bloggers! Happy Thanksgiving. This is Abs second Thanksgiving and she loves, loves and loves turkey. She's saying about 35 words now. Her new word is Hot Dog. She's really good with "please" but "thank you" is another story. Abby played all day with her cousins whom she loves so much! I love watching her play with other kids. She watches in amazement. A couple of weeks ago Abby's daycare teachers said---Abby's sort of shy---she doesn't say a lot, she just laughs. Now I walk into her class and they say---we can't get her to stop talking. That's my girl.

Thank you so much for everyone who came out to the food drive this past week, including the wonderful listeners who brought presents for Abby. Thank you so much. It was not needed but much appreciated. A lot of times I will say on the radio how blessed and honored I am to be working here in Ocean County and parts of Monmouth County and the wonderful people I meet along the way...Thank you so much again!

Waking Up With A Cough

Little Abs and Momma had a rough night last night--a dry cough. It stort of sounded like she had one of Tiarra's hair stuck in her throat. By 2 am, she was coughing every 6 minutes; yes anal Mom. I thought maybe she'll throw up. Sometimes she does that when she's coughing so hard. By 3:30 when I leave for work, she was coughing every 15 minutes, so it was getting a little bit better. But the thing about Abby--all the coughing--she never woke up crying all night..no cry...nothing..she's such a cool and calm kid. But of course Mom was up. I love watching her sleep. While sleeping or sleepy she sucks her thumb and curls her hair.

One more thing, I've told you before that my husband is in complete control in the mornings--wakes her up, makes her breakfast and dresses her for school. He lets me know how they're doing by emailing me. Today I thought I'd share his emial with you.....NICE POOPY. That's a great start to a day in our house!

The Fun Is Just Starting

Hi bloggers! Abs keeps on growing and growing. The other night I was looking at her from behind and thought, my goodness she's getting so big. This is where Mom's and Dad's probably say, "It's time for another one"...we sometimes miss the baby days...although she's so much fun now. But I hear the FUN is just starting!

Her laugh is just unbelievable. I've said it before here in the blog---what did we do without Abs in our life? Life is fun. She was eating the candy right through the wrappers with all of her halloween candy. Is she like Mom or what? Her fascination with with flash cards and crayons..I love it. Thank goodness for non-toxic, I think she's eaten the tip of almost all the crayons already!
