Abs or Abigail

A 2 year old keeps us moving. But her manners just went out the door. She was saying, "Please and thank-you's," Now she's forgetting.

Her face changes in a couple of days! It's amazing watching her grow and move and talk in almost sentences. Her daycare teacher told me the other day that all the parents of her friends love Abigail. First when she was telling me I was like, "My Abs?" She said "yes." It threw me off guard because I'm not used to hearing "Abigail." I know...great Mom.

But when parents drop off her friends at school Abs always hugs all of them. Ahhhh that's a lovely thing to hear about your baby! She's such a joy. LOVE LOVE LOVE....But I'm thinking she's hugging them because her friends are coming in to play with her. She loves loves loves to play with kids of all ages.

AND Abs loves those potatoes I was talking about on the grill Friday on the show....SUE'S SUPER POTATOE....A baked potatoe wrapped in aluminum foil...cut the potatoe and put sour cream and butter in the middle then a little bit of oil and vinegar or an italian dressing...delicious...delicious...on the grille 5 -15 minutes depending how your grille is! Enjoy! ( You can also put cheese on the potatoe and veggies...what ever you want to stuff it with.) Just watch that the cheese doesn't turn too brown and I always find brocoli a tough vegie to grille.

Saturday's beautiful weather meant a trip to the beach!

Ducks Photos

Here are the duck pictures I was telling you all about on the radio. The people at LA Photo Studio on Hooper Avenue in Toms River ((732) 505-1227) were just great and very patient. Moms and Dads...you know how tough it is to get a good picture of your little one. But it was so much fun! I just wanted to personally thank everyone over there at LA for the great time. Abby still talks about the little duckies.

A 2 year old has a mind of her own.

What is up with Abs only eating ice pops. She loves them. They're the long ones that you have to push up. Breakfast, lunch and dinner----"please please please icey." How can I resist? There's 3 "pleases" there and every time we give an icey to her it's always "thank you thank you." Thank goodness for Flintstone Vitamins. Is there any protein in Ice Pops?

Have a great weekend! Weekends are so much fun with Abs...swinging and sliding. Ahhh to be a kid again.!

Pretty Pink Sneakers

Abs thumbs are so much better. We don't have to wrap her like a little boxer. More and more words come out of her mouth. She's almost saying sentences. I just bought her first pair of Converse hight tops (pink) and she was walking around the house showing everybody and saying, "pretty pink sneakers." So cute.

Her giggles are so big. She's so ticklish especially on her feet. Abby has this time-out pillow pad in the corner of the living room and she always cries when we put her in time-out. Lately she's been asking, "time-out please." Do you think she just needs some time to herself?!

A Milestone For Abby

We had a BIG weekend....Ok so you know I'm addicted to her "poop schedule"...Guess what... she pooped on the potty this weekend! Yes Yes Yes..She did it. We celebrated ..we were clapping and singing and dancing. Oh so much fun.

At her daycare, it was so cute she had a hat on that said, "I pooped in the potty." Oh a party for Abs. She calls it a poo poo party. She looked so happy. Adorable, she hasn't done it since this weekend, BUT she did it once.! :)
