Seinfeld & Sleep

It's the Seinfeld Abby Cam! It's a very short little Cam---She wants George to come over to our house for a tea party! What about Cramer, Jerry and Elaine---Abby says, "No, just George."



Finally peace in the house at 10 at night....Aaaaah it's quiet---hubby's asleep, T's asleep and Abs is asleep. The reason I'm writing about sleep. It's been nothing but a struggle for a couple of weeks now with Abby going to bed. And then not only going to sleep but getting up in the middle of the night...twice an hour every hour on the hour coming into our room and just wanting to run around and play.

I asked her, "Why are you getting up so much?" Her response in such a 3 year old voice, "Fun is in your bedroom and my family is in there--TeeTee, Daddy and Mommy." How can I put her into her lonely room knowing she's thinking this way? Then I keep thinking everybody always says, "Don't start her sleeping in your bed." So finally one night recently we caved...she slept on our floor with her sleeping bag. The next night back in her bedroom on the floor in her sleeping bag. That goodness for the sleeping bag. Tonight she's sleeping so softly in her sleeping bag, but she's moving on up, in her bed now! Crazy little Abs!

Something new everyday..I learn a lot from her. And her spiciness...what's up with that? I used to say she's fresh--she's down right spicy now. But sort of proud of the spiciness because she's her own person with her own great big personality that you just can't help but hug and tickle her toes to hear her laugh. Speaking of toes her new favorite thingL any kind of flip flop and her favorite thing to say is, "Can you tickle my feet softly?" Fun Stuff!
