Abby's Sweet Play Date

Abby had a friend come over this past weekend. She loves when friends visit and play at our house. Her little friend was just at a parade so she had lots and lots of candy. The Mommies weren't paying attention and we wondering where are the girls?

We found them in the Barbie house with wrappers and wrappers of candies on the floor. Their little world was a great place with all of that candy..they looked up and just said, "Yum." Abby says, "I love these sugary colored candy things (Skittles)"


Later that night: Pink throw-up Everywhere! Not so YUMMY!

Ants On A Log

So the other day I was working out with Fitness Jenn and she said, "How about we make a fun nutritional snack with Abs." I thought nutritional...(not really in my vocabulary) She said, "Peanut Butter, raisins and celery." She knows I love celery! I truly do! It was a lot of fun!

We have Fitness Jenn on the show monthly with a fitness tip of the month. She is teaching me and Abs that eating nutritional food can be fun! OK maybe a chocolate chip cookie thrown in there too...For Abby at least! Fitness Jenn does meal plans and all kinds of work outs that suit you and what the heck she'll evern play with your kids for about 15 minutes than she's done! fitnessjenn.com


Ants on a Log

Ingredients:
(4) 4 inch Celery Sticks
50 raisins
2 TBS Peanut Butter

Put 1/2 TBS on each 4 inch celery stick then top with 12-13 raisins.

Serving size: Makes 4 "Aunts on a Log"

The Transformation from a caterpillar to a bumble bee!

Communication with a 3 year old is a great thing. In previous Mommy Blogs I was telling you how she wasn't thrilled with her new class the bumblebees....she just wanted to go back to her old class the caterpillars.

For several weeks she was telling us that a little friend in her class was hitting her leg. What do we do as great parents...pretty much just brush it off...and say, "It's ok Abs...You'll be ok."....Great right...

Finally we thought we might have to say something to her teachers. It turns out she really was being hurt in the leg from her friend and her friend is hitting other kids in the class. Since speaking to her teachers Abby is singing when she comes home from school and now wants to go back to school every single second of the day. Wow..what were we thinking? She was trying to tell us!

Abs, when you're 13 you'll probably read this..and I'll say to you right now, "When you were 3 we did the best we could and we continue to listen to you every day!" Crazy I know!

Snow Day!

Even though Abs fell this morning and has a huge scratch under her nose she still loved it! How about that Snow Angel!
