BIG Girl Bike With Training Wheels

Wow! We're moving up in the world! Just a month ago she was riding her little trike. Now Abby is riding a Big Princess training wheel bike. She's so happy on it! And she can move.

Thanks for all the emails and the phone calls on the show about Abs loving Edward Scissorhands...you eased my mind so much. And, yep you guessed she's still watching it almost every day! But it's ok! Yes I'm trying to tell myself that. But she's totally into dress-up, too!

We went pumpking picking today.Wow! Who knew that would be so much fun. I don't think I ever did that before having Abby. We just went to a store and bought pumpkins. Now it's turned into this 3 hour, let's look at every single pumpkin, extravaganza!

Abby Loves Edward

What happens when my 3 year old loves "Edward Scissorhands." I guess nothing ---Abby loves---that movie! It's been running over the weekends on one of the stations and she appsolutely loves it. We're even at the point when we see it's on we skip over the channel. She thinks Edward Schissorhands is so cute. Yikes! She's a funny little chicken.

So BRIBERY works so great...Mom's and Dad's you know what I'm talking about. I'm always hoping something big is happening over the weekends because then we can use it. Like this weekend...she has a friend coming over to the house and all I'm thinking this is going to be a good week. Naps, eating veggies, WOW! That's horrible I know but it works!

Birthdays & Kids

Birthdays are awesome with kids. When I was growing up my family just loved birthdays.We'd have celebrations, cakes, presents and cards. It was fantastic. And my family still does to this day (I just got a call from my Aunt and Uncle singing Happy Birthday)--they do it every year my Aunt at the piano and her and my Uncle singing. So I'm a huge Birthday fan...Anybody's!

But with the Absters it's just great! She made me a birthday hat and drew me a birthday cake...a cake without calories...mmmm she doesn't know that Mommy loves calories! She blew out my candles and made some wishes for me! It was just a wonderful birthday! I hope all her wishes came true..mine did when I had her!

Only a couple more weeks to vote on the Pandora Charm for September...then comes October and I do believe Abby and I picked out a Breast Cancer Awareness Charm for October..Can't wait for that one! Oh, by the way, earlier in the show I was talking about how Abs wasn't eating.It was a couple of days so worried Mom took her to the doctor. The doctor thought maybe she just has to poop. We walked into the house after the doctor and she throws up. And she says to me, "See I told you I had to throw up..." And she's all better..Just like you and me, I guess kids get stomach viruses. Then she ate everything in sight. Aaaaah all is good!

Labor Day Weekend Camping Trip!

Abby had such a great time with her friends camping. Let kids go into nature and they're wild. Wilder than ever but so much fun. For 4 days and 3 nights Abby slept and played in their camper and loved every minute of it. For Daddy and Mommy we were tent bound..that's another story. The first night we were there the Mom's pulled out the S'mores late and that was just a little too much sugar for kids right before bed. We learned our lesson for the next 2 nights. We were telling ghost stories and playing at the playground...It was just a fun time for the kids to be together and pretty cool for the parents too!

Charm #2--How cool is that orange flower thingy in the middle of that charm, Abby said, "Mommy's favorite color so I love it."--Thanks Abs, it is a great one.

Charm #3--This one was chosen by me because of the little heart hanging off of the charm...It's Abby's Heart!
